Festinord is an annual conference for Young Single Adults (ages 18 through 30) from Nordic countries held in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland alternatingly. Most people that attend the event, are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints. Everyone between the ages mentioned above, and who have agreed to live by our standards (see Code of Conduct) during the event are welcome.

At Festinord we meet old friends and make new friends, as we grow spiritually and intellectually when taking part in the devotionals and workshops. Also, we have fun together in playing sports and other activities, and the evenings are filled with music and dancing.

What to expect coming to Festinord 2023?

The Helsinki Festinord will be a new twist to an old familiar taste. It’s time to shake things up a little bit and simplify the event so that the YSAs have more time to meet and socialize together. The conference venues are the key in simplifying the event as the FIN2022 committee has been instructed. It’s time to lift the YSA from floors to beds.

We want to make the Festinord a memorable experience for the YSA. We have gathered feedback from previous Festinord from all over the Nordic countries and will implement that to the main activities. We want to bring the "fest" back to Festinord.

The week is full of activities and events which will strengthen you spiritually, mentally and physically. There will be unforgettable moments and after the week, you will have memories to last a lifetime. That’s the Festinord promise!

Themes for dances

Day 1 dance: Come as you are! Let’s break the ice and socialize/party in the hotel. More info coming later.

Day 2 chill night: Today, we need to take it easy. We don’t want to ruin the calm atmosphere provided by the temple day. Maybe a picnic in the nearby park, games or some other fun activities. More info coming later.

Day 3 cocktail party: Wait, what?! The Gala is already on Thursday? Yeah, it’s time to shake things up a bit. Guys, shine your shoes and ladies put on your best dresses and enjoy the Cocktail party in the vicinity of the idyllic Helsinki harbor. More info coming later.

Day 4 Beach Party & “Second Chance”: Okay, I get it now. I don’t have to worry about the gala night too much since it’s already on Thursday. Nice! We’ll have a nice beach party to top the week. There will be a live band entertaining us and DJs bringing their A-game. Fireworks? Perhaps, still under investigation. More info coming later.
